La Crescenta Family

FAQ

  • Do you have a studio?

I don’t! I’ve got a list of perfect locations for your session depending on the look you have in mind. If you are looking for formal in-studio portraits, I’m happy to refer you to other photographers who offer those services.

  • When will I get my photos?

For family sessions, headshots, and senior/grad sessions., you will receive your gallery within 7-10 business days.

  • What if my kids are cranky?

When you book a family session with me, I’ve got your back. I have raised three kids, worked at a summer camp, and love to connect with my smallest clients. I will send you a guide for preparing your kids for our session and come prepared with a bag full of literal and figurative tricks to help your family have fun together while getting authentic images.

  • What do I/we wear?

Start with checking out my website. My clients do a great job styling themselves and their families. Do you know how? I help them! I’ll send you a style guide for your family session and walk through the process with you via video call and text if you’d like extra help. For your headshot, senior or grad session, we’ll chat about your goals and I’ll provide individualized guidance.

  • If I choose a Standard Session, can I upgrade to a Signature Session once I receive my gallery?

With Standard Sessions, you will have the ability to buy your full gallery once you see the photos. However, it will cost you a bit more and you won’t receive the print credit.

  • Can you make me look 10 years younger?

I want you to look like your best authentic self. That means, I will help you select a flattering outfit, put you in the best light and show you having fun. If you need a little help with light edits, I’ve got you. If you really want 10 years off your face, let’s shop for a great plastic surgeon together!

  • Can I bring my dog?

Yes, please! Your pets are members of your family and I can’t wait to meet them. Please consider your dog’s temperament and how she will respond in a public environment. If you have a nervous or reactive dog, we should schedule your session at home where she will be more comfortable.

  • What happens if it is cloudy or rainy?

Cloudy days are perfect days for photos! The light is diffuse and acts like a giant beauty dish in the sky. Rain, on the other hand, is not ideal. In that case, we can move to an in-home session or reschedule you. No problem!
