The Claremont Colleges: a cluster of unique gems
What a privilege to head back to the Claremont Colleges for a series of graduation sessions. Despite their close proximity, each of the colleges on the Claremont map have their own cultures. This year, Pitzer and Pomona were the stars. The highlight of graduation season is getting to know my clients and capturing their unique personalities and college experiences.
My clients at Pitzer celebrated their friendship with a casual approach to their session. These brilliant gentlemen left for one last camping trip with their friends right after our session and one spent his time after graduation solo hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.
The close-knit community on campus was evident by the number of classmates and professors that stopped to greet us while we were shooting. Golden hour at Pizter College highlights the California native landscape and the light bounces off the widespread buildings to create a gorgeous glow around my clients.
This group of women at Pomona College each celebrated their own style and took me to key locations that contributed to the bonds they created during their undergraduate journey. They wanted these photos to keep them connected as they spread across the world for careers and post-graduate education.
Hey Scripps, Pitzer, Harvey Mudd, Pomona and Claremont McKenna! Let’s get you ALL on my calendar in 2026. I can’t wait to come back.
