Shooting Downtown LA never gets old for me.  The light, the angles, the movement.  Always something new and different.  First, I imagined what it is like now during the period of "shelter in place."  So oddly empty and quiet. Now, it is full of protestors expressing the pain of the Black Lives Matter movement and rightfully demanding change.   Such tumultuous times.  

You can bet I will be back at shooting in this place as soon as it feels right. Let me know if you'd like to come along! Phones have great cameras.

I recently replaced my old, dated botanical prints on the wall in my dining room with a series of B&W images of Los Angeles: the observatory, the abandoned LA Zoo, LAX and downtown.  I love them so much!  It makes me really happy to have my own work on my walls.  I sell my art and architecture images, help clients get  their own professional grade prints and am always happy to assist in selecting a frame.
